Please join Newton Family Singers as we celebrate the music of an Americana superstar. Brandi Carlile’s deep and soulful songwriting touches on topics including family, community and belonging — themes that are central to the Newton Family Singers and our audience. In addition to being a Grammy-winning songwriter and performer, Brandi is a noted philanthropist and activist for humanitarian aid, COVID-19 relief, racial justice, and LGBTQ+ rights.
The program: “In the Morrow,” “Most of All,” “Crowded Table,” “Us Again,” “The Mother,” “Hard Way Home,” “Dreams,” “Have You Ever,” “The Joke,” “This Time Tomorrow,” “Caroline,” “A Beautiful Noise,” “I’ll Still Be There,” “The Story” and “Keep Your Heart Young.”
This concert supports OUT MetroWest, which helps to build communities where LGBTQ+ youth can be themselves and thrive. At Newton Family Singers, we deeply believe in the power of music to unite and heal, truly embodying our mission to create community through music. And we see a beautiful symmetry in supporting OUT MetroWest, as both organizations value inclusivity, diversity, and compassionate connection. All proceeds from this show go to support this important organization — because everyone deserves a chorus of support in their lives.
Our first show at Regis College.
