The strangest season in NFS history. Rehearsals have moved to Zoom, singers recorded their parts alone at home, and Chris and a videographer have assembled the pieces into a choral video of Dolly Parton’s “Light of a Clear Blue Morning.”
“Light of a Clear Blue Morning” is a beautifully optimistic song which will fill your heart with joy and hope as we look forward to coming out of a difficult time. Even as we look to the future, we know many of our fellow Newton residents are struggling today, which is why we’ve partnered with the Newton Food Pantry to use this opportunity to support their mission of helping Newton’s most vulnerable. We’re launching our video of hope on Martin Luther King, Jr. Day as we recall Dr. King’s legacy of racial and economic equality.
