One Voice: A Concert Benefiting Best Buddies

Although the singers and band on stage will be the faces that you recognize well, and the music will be our usual uplifting, family-friendly, tap-your-foot kind of songs, this time we will all be there to celebrate an organization near and dear to our hearts, Best Buddies. We hope our afternoon of family-friendly entertainment — including uplifting music, tempting desserts and fantastic raffle prizes — will raise funds, spirits and awareness!

Best Buddies provides friendships, employment and leadership opportunities for people with intellectual disabilities. Our partner in this concert, Team Believe, is a group of families and friends of all ages who come together every year to take part in the Best Buddies Hyannis Port Challenge, cycling, running or walking in support of a Newton student and millions of individuals worldwide living with intellectual and developmental disabilities.

Our setlist is full of positive, uplifting songs about community, friendship and self-confidence, by artists as varied as Katy Perry, Creedence Clearwater Revival, Bill Withers, Journey, Peter, Paul and Mary, the Four Tops and U2: “One Day,” “Where You Lead,” “Proud Mary,” “Home,” “Roar,” “You’ve Got a Friend,” “Lean on Me,” “This Little Light of Mine,” “Sweet Survivor,” “Swimming to the Other Side,” “One Voice,” “Reach Out (I’ll Be There),” “Wonder,” “Beautiful Day” and “Don’t Stop Believin’.”
