The Tide Is High: Songs Reflecting on the Water

Memorial Spaulding Elementary School250 Brookline Street, Newton, MA

Go with the flow and join us for a program of tender, poignant and rocking water-inspired songs by an eclectic mix of artists, including the Beatles, Lyle Lovett, Blondie, the Grateful Dead and the Indigo Girls. We also sing strikingly beautiful songs by local favorites: award-winning singer-songwriter-naturalist Oen Kennedy, and our own Andy Rogovin.

The setlist runs from “The Tide Is High” and “Octopus’s Garden” to “Closer to Fine,” “Gentle Arms of Eden,” “The Water Is Wide,” “Up on Cripple Creek” and “If I Had a Boat.” Three little fiddlers play “Crawdad Song.”

We’re thanking our Facebook fans this season with a ukulele giveaway.
