When I Was a Child
Mason-Rice Elementary School Auditorium149 Pleasant Street, Newton Centre, MA
A program of folk songs about childhood and growing up: “Daddy Sang Bass,” “Follow the Drinking Gourd,” Neil Young’s “Sugar Mountain,” “Teach Your Children” and “Give Me the Banjo.” This is our last show with founding choral director Joel Sindelar. The suggested donation is eight dollars, and three hundred people turned out for the Waban tree lighting last week.
